Jaime L. Kissinger joined Youngman Ericsson Scott, LLP in 2018 as an attorney specializing in family law. Jaime understands the sensitive and emotional nature of family law matters, and uses her experience to effectively address her client’s needs.
Prior to joining Youngman Ericsson Scott, LLP, Jaime developed her skills and experience in family law by working as an attorney for a small family law firm in Sacramento, California. While there, Jaime handled multiple cases dealing with divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence. In addition, she volunteered her time to Sacramento County’s One Day Divorce Program.
Jaime has also worked as certified law student for Help-U-File Family Law in Sacramento, California assisting self-represented individuals with their various family court needs. Additionally, she gained valuable insights into the family court system by externing for the Yolo County Family Law Facilitator’s Office.
Jaime grew up in Lodi, California. She received a B.S. in Business Administration with a minor in Pre-Law from the University of the Pacific in 2010. Jaime graduated with her J.D. from McGeorge School of Law in 2015. While in law school, Jaime received a certificate in mediation, served as a staff editor for the Pacific McGeorge Global and Business Development Law Journal from 2014-2015, and served as the treasurer of the Student Animal Legal Defense Club from 2014-2015.
Jaime is an active member of the California State Bar, Contra Costa County Bar Association, and Sacramento County Bar Association, as well as the Family Law Sections of both the Contra Costa County Bar Association and the Sacramento County Bar Association.
In her free time, Jaime enjoys reading, skiing, scuba diving, and spending time with her entire family. She is an avid animal lover and has spent much of her time fostering German Shepherds.
